BEFORE REQUESTING A TOUR, PLEASE NOTE:

 

  • John Deere Factory Tours are FREE.
  • Tours must be requested with a minimum 5 business days advance notice.
  • Must be 13 years of age or older to participate.
  • Attendees must wear long pants and closed-toe, closed-heel shoes. Shorts, skirts, dresses, sandals, and similar attire are not permitted.
  • Requested tours are NOT scheduled until confirmed by a John Deere Tour Representative.
  • Tours are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis.

 

  • General Public Tours are no longer offered.
  • Customer tours are required to be requested via dealer representative or current John Deere employee providing a business case.

STANDARD GUIDED TOURS

Des Moines Works

Available To: John Deere Customers, Dealers, Suppliers, Employees, and Business Partners, as well as Government Officials, and Learning Institutions

Group Size:  Limited to 55 persons per tour group

Duration:  2.5 hours

Groups will travel on tour carts with a maximum capacity of 18 persons per cart. Groups with more than 18 persons will be divided between multiple tour carts to tour the factory.
